Knocknarea Farm is run by us, Seán & Rob. We run a small mixed farm that works with nature at the foot of Knocknarea. We are two young local farmers who are passionate about regenerative agriculture. We believe Ireland should be able to produce it’s own nutrient-dense food grown in a manner that makes the soil and landscape more abundant and full of life for generations to come.

We use regenerative principles to produce nutrient-dense food for people’s health and well being. We offer pasture-raised eggs and a weekly veggie box grown in a no-dig market garden which aims at enhancing and building life in the soil.

Our CSA share contains seasonal items which are densely packed with taste, flavour and most important, nutrients. We are a chemical-free farm and only use natural growing methods.

Our pasture-raised eggs are produced by our lovely chickens which are rotated onto fresh open grass every 24 hours. This allows the hens to express their full vitality and enhance their nutrition by picking and scratching at fresh bugs and life on the field. By using timed and observed movements, the hens add an abundant amount of fertility and impact, which results in dense nutritious pasture. Our hen’s eggs are bursting with flavour and nutrition.
